Levee Protection for a Community That Serves Our Nation
Energy that fuels this nation. Seafood that feeds the world. A culture and environment like no other. This place and its 150,000 residents are worth saving. Our best hope for survival is the Morganza-to-the-Gulf Hurricane Protection System.
The Morganza Action Coalition is a grassroots organization focused on securing funding to complete construction of the Morganza lock, levee, and floodgate system in coastal Terrebonne and Lafourche Parishes, Louisiana. MAC also works with local and state officials to clear regulatory hurdles for the project, and inform Americans everywhere about the value of our critical communities and our unique hurricane protection needs.
Support our efforts to provide the effective hurricane protection that this valuable community not only needs, but deserves!
